My goal for today is to reach 25,000 words. I started the night out at 12,374. So, I've a long road ahead *__*

Writing Session #1: 15,275
Thanks to a sprint with Sage and stumbling across a scene my outline missed, I'm up almost 3K on the night and, gasp, it is only 2AM! :D

Sleep cycle precludes me from sleeping until at least 7am so it is entirely possible I could hit 20,000 words before I crash, and only have 5,000 remaining to tackle once I wake up.

THIS JUST GOT DOABLE YO.

Now I'm off to write a family lunch in which togas are worn at an Olive Garden. X3

Writing Session #2
Scarfed down a bagel and threw on another pair of socks before starting writing again. Ended up writing a really rough sketch of Logan getting pulled into the wall and what happens next. Going to take an hour off and get some tea and maybe some soup, ZOMG SO COLD.

19,387, only because I crashed in the middle of my third session and then woke up again a few minutes ago. APPARENTLY BRAIN WANTS MORE WORDS or my stomach is just upset I forgot to eat a real dinner last night X3.

Word-wise, I'm at 26810, but plot-wise my novel is moving at the pace of a slug. I'm going to try to move things along quicker, pace-wise. I think what kills me is that I honestly don't know where I am going with this at all XD This has happened to me in two Nanos in the past, and I've managed to make it work still <3

(nobody is going to read this Nano when it is done though. It is so pitifully bad and only for my exercise/amusement at the moment).

What is your goal for today? :D And since you've hit the dreaded middle, send in someone with a gun! XD

More serious advice: whenever I hit the middle and feel as if I've just got a billion strands that will never ever be woven into a warm fuzzy blanket, I sit down and write down all the trailing plots and figure out solutions. Sometimes that, and reintroducing plot elements, can help save you come the back nano stretch <33

My word goal today is 3400, since it is a day off. Wooo.

UM I don't think I set a halfway marker for the calendar project. XD Though getting the last three bluelines done today I guess could be considered a good halfway point, since the blueline sketch is really half the drawing. The rest is just cleanup and colouring, and as has been demonstrated with the three I've already completed, that doesn't take a huge amount of time at all. <3 (The cover doesn't count, really, it was kinda the exception anyway. XD)

Of course, I have to get them done AND I WILL TODAY because I've nothing else planned for the day apart from grocery shopping. Which I shall attend to after I finish my tea. <3

I am at 26,932 as of midnight last night. I'm going to get to 27K if it kills me (which it shouldn't because that's a pathetic goal).

Not well, I've been behind the past couple days, first because Tim took me on a date that lasted all day, then because I had a panic attack and couldn't move until about noonish, when the UPS truck showed up.
